✝️ The Name Above Every Name
📖 Main Text: Philippians 2:9–11 (KJV)
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

✨ Introduction:
- Today, we’re talking about the exaltation of Jesus.
- Jesus humbled Himself (Philippians 2:5–8) — even to death on a cross.
- Because of His sacrifice, God exalted Him to the highest place.
- The cross was not the end — the crown followed.
🛐 Main Points:
1. God Exalted Jesus to the Highest Place (v.9)
- Jesus is exalted by God Himself.
- He is seated at the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 1:3).
- The path to exaltation passes through humility.
“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” (James 4:10)
2. The Name Above Every Name
- “Jesus” (Yeshua) means “The Lord saves.”
- His name carries supreme authority, love, and power.
- Salvation (Acts 4:12), healing (Acts 3:6), and victory over darkness (Mark 16:17) come through His name.
3. Every Knee Will Bow (v.10)
- All creation will bow: in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
- Bow now in worship or later in judgment — but every knee will bow.
4. Every Tongue Will Confess (v.11)
- Every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord.
- Confessing His Lordship brings glory to God the Father.
🔥 Application:
- Bow willingly today — in worship and obedience.
- Speak boldly today — declare Jesus in all areas of life.
- Live expectantly today — He reigns now and will return gloriously.
🙏 Closing Reflection:
What is your response to the Name above every name? Worship Him, confess Him, and live for Him.
“Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
📖 Closing Prayer:
“Father, thank You for giving Jesus the name above every name. Today we choose to bow our knees and confess that He is Lord of all. Help us to live lives that glorify You and draw others to the beauty and power of Jesus. In His mighty name we pray, Amen.”
